Map prints for shops and studios

A bookshop selling prints of the town it sits in. A gift shop with a shelf of local views. An estate agency giving a print of the house to every buyer at completion. A designer specifying art for a room that needs one particular place on the wall.

These are different from a single customer buying one poster, and the things that matter are different too. Here is how we work.

What you can order

Any place, in any of our seven styles, at 30 × 40, 50 × 70 or 70 × 100 cm. Prints are unframed and ship rolled. You can order the same view repeatedly — the design is saved as a link, so a reorder is the same file, not a redrawn approximation.

For a shop, the usual pattern is one place in several styles, or several nearby places in one style so the shelf reads as a set.

Lead time and consistency

Every print is made after it is ordered. There is no stock, which means no minimum you have to store and no risk of us discontinuing something you have built a display around.

Printing is through Gelato, on 200gsm uncoated matte paper, produced in or near your own country. Their current estimate within Sweden and Germany is 4–7 days, and we quote the upper end of that because it is their estimate rather than our measured time. We do not offer rush production, and we would rather tell you that now than discover it against your opening date.

Between units, the same design at the same size is the same file printed the same way. If a batch does not match, tell us and we reprint it.

Invoicing and getting a quote

Volume pricing, invoicing and delivery to one address are handled directly rather than through the checkout on this site. Email support@fantastic-maps.com with the places, the styles, the sizes and roughly how many, and you will get a written quote with a lead time in it.

Under about ten units, ordering through the site is quicker for both of us, and the price is the same.

What we do not do

We do not sell other people's artwork. Every style is ours, which is also why we can keep printing the same one for you next year.

We do not print frames, and we do not white-label. The print has our mark on it, small, in the corner.

We deliver to the European Union at the moment. The UK, the United States and Canada are paused while their tax registrations are sorted out.
