Terms of sale
These terms apply when you buy a print from Fantastic Maps at www.fantastic-maps.com.
Who we are
Fantastic Maps is run by Axel Krantz, a sole trader (enskild firma) in Sweden. Surbrunnsgränd 44, 702 28 Örebro, Sweden. Email: support@fantastic-maps.com.
The product
Each print is a map of a place you choose, in a style you choose, printed after you order on 200gsm uncoated matte paper. Prints are unframed and ship rolled in a tube.
The preview on the site is the file we send to the printer. Colours on paper can look slightly different from your screen, because screens vary. The map shows what our map data and imagery contain; we can't add places that aren't in it. The caption can say anything you like.
Prices and payment
Prices are in Swedish kronor for delivery in Sweden and in euros for the rest of the EU, and include any VAT. Shipping is shown before you pay. Stripe takes the payment when you order; we never see or store your card details. Stripe emails you a receipt.
Your order
The contract is made when your payment goes through. Because every print is made to your design, you can change or cancel an order free of charge only until it goes into production. Email us as soon as possible.
Delivery
We currently deliver within the European Union. Prints are made by our print partner Gelato, usually in or near your country. The delivery time shown when you order is an estimate, not a promise, unless we give you a specific date.
Gift codes
A gift code pays for one print of the size it was bought for, with shipping within the EU. A bigger print can be ordered with it by paying the difference. Each code works once, doesn't expire, and can't be exchanged for cash. A pack of codes for a business is paid in full before its codes are sent, by card or by invoice due in 14 days, and once its codes have been sent it can't be returned.
Returns
Prints made to your own specifications are exempt from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, so a print can't be returned because you changed your mind. Faulty prints are a different matter: see Returns.
Faulty or damaged prints
If your print arrives damaged, creased or printed wrong, email us a photo. We reprint it at our cost, and you don't need to send the damaged one back. Your statutory rights for faulty goods under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen) are not affected.
Complaints and disputes
Email us first. If we can't agree, you can take the dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes, Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), www.arn.se.
